Bitcoin is often classed as a currency of
the future. It is decentralised and only exists in the virtual world. Firoz
Patel Alertpay use this currency to aid them with their credit card fraud.
The use of the Bitcoin is unregulated both
at home and abroad and, as such, provides an ideal opportunity to unscrupulous
operators to take full advantage of. It exists only in the software run by
computers whose operators allow their systems to be used as a marketplace for
traders in Bitcoins.
They are known as Bitcoin miners. They charge a commission
for transactions completed through the use of their services. Because many
people do not fully understand this virtual currency, it is easy to mislead
them. This is exactly what the Patel brothers are doing when they added the Bitcoin
trading facility to their portfolio of services offered by their Alertpay
Company.
As it is still a relatively new currency,
there are not many legitimate companies who accept it as a means of payment.
Those who do wish to trade in the Bitcoin are encouraged to open an account
with Alertpay. In order to open any new account, personal details are required.
These details are then used in the ongoing credit card fraud which Alertpay are
so often accused of. Unreasonably high commission fees are charged on all
Bitcoin transactions because of peoples’ lack of understanding. They also offer
a very poor rate of exchange for the same reason.
Once a new client has operated their
account for several months, they will soon find themselves to be a recipient of
an email from Alertpay stating some security update or breach of terms and
conditions. As a direct result of these allegations they will find that their
account has been frozen, pending the results of the ongoing enquiry. All too
often the money within the contested account will have vanished and will be
used by the Patels for their own purposes. Often used to fund their other nefarious
businesses and credit card fraud.
So many complaints have been lodged against
Alertpay stating the same reason. That reason being that refunds are very often
refused for no apparent reason. Customer service becomes very evasive or are
not contactable at all. They often give unrelated answers and generally appear
unhelpful. They stall for as much time as possible and create confusion with
their answers.
One example of how the credit card fraud
starts is as follows:-
Customer transfers money into their Alertpay
account so that they can complete online purchases. However people are known to
change their minds and decide not to go ahead with the planned purchase. A
refund of monies is then requested but all too often ignored. Perhaps even
scarier is the fact that this company now has all your personal details which
it can use for whatever purpose it chooses. Firoz Patel Alertpay has been known
in the past to pass on these details to a third party for use in Credit card
fraud.
